New Delhi: It’s time to send congratulatory messages to Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut as her brother Aksht Ranaut has got engaged to Ritu Sangwan on Friday (November 8). The engagement ceremony was attended by the ‘Queen’ actress, her parents, sister Rangoli Chandel and other family members. Kangana, who was last seen in ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ opposite Rajkummar Rao, looked stunning in a golden banarasi saree which she paired with a pink blouse.


Kangana completed her look with a pearl necklace and radiated elegance and glow. The ‘Manikarnika: Queen Of Jhansi’ actress even performed the traditional pahadi dance form ‘Natti’ during the engagement ceremony.

Rangoli, who is quite active on social media, shared several pictures and videos from the celebrations on Twitter and Instagram.

"Friends who are curious about pahadi group dance form Natti, here’s a glimpse of it, elderly gentleman in a pahadi hat is our grandfather Shri Barahmchand Ranaut ex IAS officer,'' Rangoli tweeted while sharing the video.

Rangoli shared an adorable photo of Aksht and Ritu from the ceremony along with the caption, ''Dear friends please bless them for their new beginnings.''


Rangoli posted several inside pictures from the celebrations on the micro-blogging site. She tweeted, ''some moments for my friends who asked for pictures from the event.''

The newly engaged couple danced together and Rangoli shared a cute video on Twitter with the caption, ''They are forced to dance in front of their parents #engagementparty.''


Rangoli had earlier shared an adorable throwback picture with Kangana and Aksht while wishing him on his birthday.

"Growing up no matter hw much scolding or beating these two gt dey never calld me didi,I call Kangana Chotu cos I cn bt dis little one Aksht also calls her Chutki or Chotu, clearly in our family we hv more than one weirdo," she tweeted.
