New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been hitting the headlines a lot off-lately for voicing her opinion on the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. She is one of the celebrities who is known for fearlessly speaking her mind. Though she was very active on social media during the period of the nationwide lockdown and the ongoing SSR death case, the 'Rangoon' actress was also seen enjoying some quality time with her family in her hometown, Manali. Recently, the ‘Manikarnika’ actress took to her social media and shared some throwback pictures of her younger brother Aksht Ranaut on the occasion of the latter’s birthday.

The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress revealed that whenever she used to visit temples as a kid, her grandmother would ask her to pray for a little brother from the goddess. The actress told that without knowing the meaning, she used to pray for a brother and on this day, goddess blessed them with Aksht.

Kangana tweeted while sharing the pictures, “When I was small whenever we went to temples my Dadi whispered in my ear ‘बोलो माता रानी मुझे एक भईया देदो’ without even knowing the meaning of these words I squeezed my eyes and repeated ...ha ha on this day Goddess blessed us and what a wonderful blessing Happy Birthday Aksht”



As the ‘Panga’ actress shared some throwback childhood pictures, fans got curious to know if the young girl sitting beside Aksht is Kangana. To which, the ‘Queen’ actress tweeted, “Many are asking if that young girl in the picture is me, no ! that’s Rangoli with Aksht, here are some more pics, baby Aksht with our parents, I always wondered when they sneaked out to click this picture without their daughters ha ha lots of fights happened over this picture”



The actress also recently resumed shooting for her upcoming biopic ‘Thalaivi’ where she will be portraying the role of the protagonist J. Jayalalithaa helmed by AL Vijay.

'Thalaivi' has been written by 'Baahubali' and 'Manikarnika' writer KV Vijayendra Prasad and 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai' writer Rajat Arora.

Apart from ‘Thalaivi’, the actress also has ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Tejas’ in her kitty.
