Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been trending on social media ever since Twitter suspended her account for violating ‘hateful conduct’ policy. The ‘Panga’ actress received flak for her controversial tweets on the alleged post-election result violence in West Bengal. While Twitter has permanently banned Kangana, the founders of Koo have welcomed the ‘Queen’ star and asked her to express her opinions freely on the homegrown app.
Aprameya Radhakrishna, who is the co-founder and CEO of Koo app, posted a screenshot of Kangana’s post in which she said that Koo is like her own house while everything else is rented. He wrote, “This was
@kanganarofficial‘s first koo. She‘s right in saying Koo is like her home while everything else is rented.”

Mayank Bidawatka, another co-founder of Koo, said that Kangana is free to express her opinions on the homegrown app with ‘pride’. He wrote, “This is your home. You can share your opinions with others on Koo with pride.”
Kangana had strongly reacted to her Twitter suspension, saying that she would continue to raise her voice through cinema. "Fortunately I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice including my own art in the form of cinema," she was quoted as saying by ANI.
Leading fashion designer Anand Bhushan decided to remove all the collaboration posts with Kangana from social media and pledged to never work with her in the future. Her sister Rangoli Chandel promised to take legal action against the designer after he vowed to not work with the actress.
On the professional front, Kangana will be next seen in A.L. Vijay's 'Thalaivi'. She is essaying the role of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in the highly anticipated flick. The movie was slated to hit the silver screens on April 23; however, the makers had to postpone the release due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The 'Fashion' star also has 'Tejas', 'Dhaakad' and 'Manikarnika Returns' in her kitty. She recently announced her digital debut as a producer.
