The 'Manikarnika' actress, who is currently in her hometown Manali, targeted the Maharashtra government through her tweet and said that 'Pappu sena in the state seems to be obsessing' over her. She added that she will return soon to Mumbai.
"Who all are fasting on Navratris? Pictures clicked from today’s celebrations as I am also fasting, meanwhile another FIR filed against me, Pappu sena in Maharashtra seems to be obsessing over me, don’t miss me so much I will be there soon," Kangana tweeted.
The Court ordered registration of FIR against Kangana and her sister Rangoli based on the complaint of casting director and fitness trainer Munnawarali Sayyed. In his complaint, Sayyes accused the 'Queen' star of ‘trying to spread hatred and communal tension’. The complainant also alleged that she has been defaming the Hindi film industry by calling it a 'hub of nepotism' on social media and 'trying to divide the artists on the communal lines'.
Twitter suspended Rangoli Chandel's account in April 2020 after she posted a series of controversial tweets. The handle was suspended for violating the rules.
According to a report in PTI, the court directed the concerned police station to initiate required action and investigation against Kangana and Rangoli under relevant provisions of Criminal Procedure Code.
Earlier this week, Karnataka Police registered a case against the 'Judgementall Hai Kya' actress over her tweet on farmers.
On the professional front, Kangana will be next seen in 'Thalaivi'. She recently wrapped up the shoot of her much-awaited film. The National Award-winning actress will be seen as former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in the flick. She also has 'Dhaakad' and 'Tejas' in her kitty.
