Kangana Ranaut’s Lawyer Responds To BMC’s ‘Stop Work Notice’; Says ‘Your Notice Is Absolutely Bad-In-Law’

New Delhi: The ongoing tussle between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and the Maharashtra government has ignited after the BMC made a surprise visit to her office in Pali Hills and issued a ‘Stop Work Notice’. The ruling party of the state also ordered an investigation into the actress’ alleged drug links. The ‘Panga’ actress, however, brushed off all the claims saying that she is ready for a drug test and would leave the city if found guilty. The actress added that she hopes they hold on to their plans of demolishing her property. A portion from the 2-page letter read, “Foremost do categorically note that no work is being carried out by my client in her premises as ‘falsely understood by you’ therefore the notice issued by you as ‘Stop Work Notice’ is absolutely bad-in-law and appears to have been issued only to intimidate my client by misusing your dominant position.” Sharing the picture of the letter, Kangana Ranaut wrote, “My Lawyer @RizwanSiddiquee has replied to @mybmc notice hope they hold on to their plans of demolishing the property...”
Also, refusing all the allegations made against her by the Maharashtra government in the drug's link, the ‘Manikarnika’ actress responded that she is ready for a drug test. Her tweet read, “I am more than happy to oblige @MumbaiPolice @AnilDeshmukhNCP please do my drug tests investigate my call records if you find any links to drug peddlers ever I will accept my mistake and leave Mumbai forever, looking forward to meet you” Kangana Ranaut is reportedly also the first Bollywood celebrity to be guarded by a posse of elite commandos of CRPF. She has been given ‘Y’ level security cover by Union Home Ministry. Reportedly, the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress has left from her hometown and is on her way to Mumbai.
