Kangana’s mother Asha Ranaut, while addressing the media on Thursday (September 10) from Himachal Pradesh, reacted to her daughter’s ongoing tussle with the Shiv Sena and condemned Maharashtra government’s action. She also expressed her gratitude to Home Minister Amit Shah for providing the ‘Queen’ actress with Y-plus security.
Asha further said that she is happy the country is supporting the ‘Fashion’ actress. She added that she is proud of her daughter as she has always stood by the truth.
“What Maharashtra govt did is condemnable. I condemn that in harshest of words. I'm happy that entire India is standing with my daughter & people's blessings are with her. I'm proud of her, she always stood by truth & will continue doing that,” Asha Ranaut was quoted as saying by ANI.
Kangana Ranaut reacted to her mother's statement and said that she is surprised to see her 'refreshing take on the whole matter'. She also said that she didn't take her mother's calls after the demolition incident took place.

"When they broke my office, mom’s warning face flashed before my eyes “ KAHA THA MAINE” haven’t taken her calls ever since, this just flashed on my timeline, pleasantly surprised by her refreshing take on this whole matter," the 'Manikarnika' actress tweeted.

Kangana visited her office on Thursday to inspect the property after the BMC demolished parts of the property. She waved at the paparazzi and media persons before entering the premises. The National Award-winning actress reportedly broke down into tears after seeing her damaged office. Her lawyer told ABP News that the Pahadi beauty suffered losses worth Rs 2 crore due to the demolition drive.
Kangana had launched a scathing attack on Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on social media. She alleged that the state government targeted her because of her tussle with the Shiv Sena.
