New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut visited her Pali Hill bungalow in Mumbai on Thursday (September 10), a day after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished parts of the property, citing ‘illegal alterations’. The ‘Queen’ actress reached her Bandra office to inspect her property damage after BMC’s demolition drive, which hogged all the limelight yesterday. Kangana, who was last seen in ‘Panga’, waved at the paparazzi and fans before entering her office premises.

If a recent report in a leading daily is to be believed, Kangana broke down in tears after visiting her office. The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress couldn’t control her tears after taking stock of her damaged office, the report in Mumbai Mirror said.



Kangana’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui, while talking to ABP News, said that ‘Gangster’ star suffered losses worth Rs 2 crore after the BMC team destroyed several expensive artefacts and other luxury items inside the office. He added that the Pahadi beauty has a penchant of buying such luxurious designer items.

Siddiqui also said that he would ensure that the damages are recovered at any cost.

Kangana had slammed Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in her video message on social media after parts of her property were demolished. She alleged that the state government is targeting her due to her tiff with the Shiv Sena.

A city-based advocate has filed a complaint against Ranaut for allegedly insulting and using foul language against Uddhav Thackeray in her video at Mumbai's Vikholi police station. Prashant Kadam, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone VII, while talking to PTI, said that no FIR was registered against Kangana.

The 'Fashion' actress stirred controversy when she alleged that Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut gave her open threat and asked her not to come back to Mumbai. She compared the Maximum City with Pakistan occupied Kashmir, which didn't go down well with several political parties including the Shiv Sena, The NCP and the Congress.

Several Bollywood and TV celebs came out in support of Kangana and condemned BMC's demolition drive at her property. On the professional front, the Pahadi beauty has a couple of exciting projects in her kitty including 'Dhaakad', 'Tejas' and 'Thalaivi'.
