'With Real Life Thalaivii': Kangana Ranaut Shares Pic With Smriti Irani From Special Screening Of Her Film

Kangana Ranaut hosted a special screening of 'Thalaivii' for the parliamentarians and ministers in Delhi.

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to entertain the audience with her much-awaited film ‘Thalaivii’. At a time when producers are releasing their projects on OTT platforms, the makers of ‘Thalaivii’ have decided to release their movie in the cinema halls. The biographical drama, which also stars Arvind Swami, has managed to receive rave reviews from the critics. 

Ahead of its release, Kangana hosted a special screening of ‘Thalaivii’ for the parliamentarians and ministers. Minister of Women and Child Development Smriti Irani also attended the screening, which was conducted in Delhi.

Kangana shared a picture with the BJP leader, calling her the ‘Real life Thalaivii’. She posted a photo with Smriti on her Instagram story along with the caption, “With real life Thalaivii.”  

Ranaut and Irani can be seen smiling while striking a pose for the camera. Check out the photo!

Earlier in the day, the 'Panga' star shared a post on Instagram to inform the fans about the special screening of 'Thalaivii'. She wrote, "All ready for Parliamentarians and Ministers screening in Delhi. Rarely we celebrate our politicians and very few films on politics and politicians are made, one such rare film is Thalaivii based on former chief minister of Tamilnadu Dr. J.Jayalalithaa. Honoured to be hosting a screening for prominent politicians today."

Kangana looked drop-dead gorgeous in a brown saree, which she paired with statement earrings. Check out the photo!

‘Thalavii’, which is based on the life of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, will hit the silver screens on September 10, 2021. It will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The highly anticipated flick also stars Nassar, Bhagyashree and Madhoo Shah in key roles.

'Thalaivii' is the third major Hindi film to release in theatres after the government lifted restrictions, which were imposed to curb COVID-19. Akshay Kumar starrer 'BellBottom' and Amitabh Bachchan-Emraan Hashmi's 'Chehre' released last month after cinema halls were reopened. 

It remains to be seen if Kangana manages to win the hearts of the audience with her performance or not.
