The ‘Queen’ actress also said that she wants the film industries of different states in the country to have one identity. She added that Hollywood films have an advantage as there is no collective film industry in India.
“I applaud this announcement by @myogiadityanath ji. We need many reforms in the film industry first of all we need one big film industry called Indian film industry we are divided based on many factors, Hollywood films get advantage of this. One industry but many Film Cities,” Kangana tweeted.
The ‘Manikarnika’ actress set several tongues wagging when she reacted to Jaya Bachchan’s ‘Thali’ remark and said that the industry only offered her two-minute roles, item songs and romantic scenes only after sleeping with the hero.
The Pahadi beauty made the sensational comment after Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan slammed those who are trying to ‘tarnish the image of Bollywood’ in her speech in Rajya Sabha. Without taking names, the veteran actress said a continuous effort is being made to defame the Hindi film industry.

Kangana’s ongoing tussle with the Shiv Sena has become the talk of the town. Her arrival in Mumbai was met with protests by the Shiv Sena workers at the airport. Before she landed in the Maximum City, a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) team demolished parts of her property in Pali Hills, citing ‘illegal alterations’.
The ‘Fashion’ actress had launched a scathing attack on Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray after the BMC demolition drive. She had moved the Bombay High Court on the same day.

Kangana later amended her plea and sought damage compensation worth Rs 2 crore from the BMC. The civic body responded to her plea and urged Bombay HC to dismiss the petition and impose a cost on the actress for filing it.
"The writ petition and the reliefs sought for therein constitute an abuse of process. The Petition should not be entertained and should be dismissed with costs," BMC was quoted as saying by PTI.
