View In AppLately, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is locked into a verbal spat with Maharashtra state government after the former criticised the city and compared it with the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The war of wards took a heated turn when the BMC raided and demolished parts of Kangana's office located in Pali Hills area of the city.
In a following tweet, the Panga actress on the micro-blogging site wrote in Hindi saying it takes a lifetime to build a home and you don't even sigh while burning down residences. isn't this rape? the actress questioned.
On September 9, the civic body razed parts of the 'Queen' actress's residence and office in Bandra. However, the Bombay High Court has put a stay on the civic body's demolition drive at her property in Mumbai. The order came after BMC already razed parts of Kangana's residence and damaged her office which is a part of her house in Bandra.
Kangana in a recent Tweet said, All the feminists calling my house illegal without any proof, when I win the case against BMC, and they pay compensation for my loss, which is inevitable because my case is very strong they will get told off by the court for sure, will these people say sorry to me? According to the sources, 'Gangster' star suffered losses worth Rs 2 crore after the BMC team destroyed several expensive artefacts and other luxury items inside the office.
The BMC claims that parts of Kangana's office were not constructed as per the pprotocols but the actress maintains that no part in her property is illegally constructed and every work carried out was with the permission of BMC.
