New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut has been quite vocal about the 'unfair treatment' of outsiders in Bollywood post Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The 'Panga' actress even expressed her displeasure after film bodies and producers filed a lawsuit against certain media channels for defaming the Hindi film industry. The 'Fashion' actress said that the word Bollywood is 'copied and stolen' from Hollywood.
"There are ARTISTS and there are BHANDS there is INDIAN FILM INDUSTRY and there is BOLLYWOOD #IndiaRejectBollywood most ridiculous word BOLLYWOOD itself copied and stolen from HOLLYWOOD. Please reject this derogatory word #IndiaRejectBollywood," Kangana tweeted.
Producer Vinta Nanda strongly reacted to Kangana's tweet and wrote, "It’s best for you that #Dollywood is established soon in #NOIDA. That way you will leave #Bollywood alone and let people do as they want and you can also do as you like."
Yesterday, Kangana called out the Hindi film industry for neglecting the rights of labourers, women and stuntmen, who work in Bollywood. She asked why the industry turns a blind eye towards them when they ask for their rights.
She tweeted, "All Bullywood hyenas gathered to attack the media for calling them names, I want to ask them why don’t they show such unity to stand for injustice done to labourers, women, stuntmen? They demand their own human rights but show absolute dispassionate for others human rights."
Kangana set several tongues wagging she compared Mumbai with Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Her tussle with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut grabbed several eyeballs and became the talk of the town last month. She arrived in Mumbai on September 9 amid protests from the Shiv Sena workers at the airport. Ahead of her arrival, a BMC team demolished parts of her property in Pali Hill citing 'illegal alterations'. The Pahadi beauty had moved the high court to stop BMC's demolition drive.
