New Delhi: Veteran Bollywood actor Kader Khan was hospitalized in Canada after he developed breathing problems. The doctors at the hospital reportedly transferred the ‘ Aunty No. 1’ actor from regular ventilator to BiPAP ventilato due to breathing issues. The rumours of his death was circulating on social media but the actor’s son Sarafaraz has dismissed all the rumours and said that his father is hospitalized in Canada.


Sarfaraz, while talking to a news agency, clarified that Kader Khan is very much alive, thus putting an end to the rumours that were doing the rounds on social media.

“It is all a lie. It (is) just a rumour. My father is in the hospital,” Sarfaraz told news agency PTI.

Many tinsel town celebs including Arshad Warsi believed the death hoax. The 'Golmaal' star took to social media to pay respect to the actor.

''RIP #kadarkhan Sahab. I was one of the fortunate & privileged one to have worked with him. Thank you ????????...You & your immense talent will be missed,''  Arshad wrote on Twitter.

Kader Khan, who was born in Kabul, made his acting debut in the year 1973 with Rajesh Khanna’s 'Daag'. The talented actor has featured in over 300 films including  Aankhen, Taqdeerwala, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Dulhe Raja, Coolie No.1, Saajan Chale Sasural.

The 'Gharwali Baharwali' actor has also written dialogues for more than 250 films. As a screenwriter, Kader frequently collaborated with directors like Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra.

Bollywood's Shehenshah Amitabh Bachchan had sent his good wishes and prayer to Kader Khan on Twitter. ''KADER KHAN .. actor writer of immense talent .. lies ill in Hospital .. PRAYERS and DUAS for his well being and recovery .. saw him perform on stage, welcomed him and his prolific writing for my films .. great company, a Libran .. and many not know , taught Mathematics!,'' Big B wrote on the micro-blogging site.
