Jigra poster out: Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Jigra’ is all set to hit screens in the coming months. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Alia shared a new poster of the film featuring her look. She also posted another poster from the Vasan Bala directorial, which features her alongside Vedang Raina.
Alia Bhatt shares new poster of Jigra
In the dramatic new poster, Alia Bhatt appeared taken aback as she caught a glimpse of something far away as she unveiled her look from ‘Jigra’. The actor had on a dirty shirt, dark trousers, and a survival vest. She held many tools in her hands, including a hammer.
Alia captioned the post, "Kahaani bahut lambi hai aur bhai ke paas waqt bahut bahut kam (The story is too long, but the time my brother has, too less)."

A few hours ago, Alia also shared Vedang's new poster on Instagram, and wrote, "Tu mere protection mein hai (You are under my protection)."
Alia Bhatt's Jigra on OTT
‘Jigra’, which was earlier slated to be released on OTT, is now set to hit the theatres. However, it is expected the film will drop on OTT after the theatrical run. The makers have not announced any official release date yet. As per reports, the streaming giant Netflix is the film's distribution partner. It is obvious that Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’ will be streaming on the platform.

‘Jigra’ was announced in September last year. The announcement video of the movie hinted that it was about a sister who loves her brother and would stop at nothing to keep him safe. Vedang Raina, who will play the role of Alia’s brother, made his feature film debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies last year.
The updated release date for ‘Jigra’ was announced by the film's creators in June. Originally scheduled for release on September 27, 2024, viewers can now watch it in theatres starting on October 11. Besides Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, the movie will also star Jason Shah, Aditya Nanda, Yuvraj Vijan.
