New Delhi: There were rumours that Jee Le Zaraa's producers were seeking a replacement for Priyanka Chopra after she allegedly quit the film to focus on her Hollywood obligations. Now, director Reema Kagti has silenced all the rumours. Farhan Akhtar's star-studded road movie has been a hot topic of conversation online. Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt, three of Bollywood's biggest names, were initially announced as the leads of the highly anticipated film.

Reema Kagti, who will co-produce Jee Le Zaraa with Zoya Akhtar under the company Tiger Baby Films, recently spoke with PTI and revealed some big developments about the highly anticipated film.

She said, "It has been a busy time at (production banner) Tiger Baby. We are also doing some documentary stuff. We are hoping Kho Gaye Hum Kahan will come out soon. There's also a film that Zoya is doing. Supermen of Malegaon is a film for Amazon. Jee Le Zaraa will go on floors with the same cast."

In 2021, Farhan Akhtar also shared a motion picture of the movie, confirming that he would return to directing the female-centric road trip film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, which will star Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif.

Earlier, co-producer Zoya Akhtar dismissed rumours that 'Jee Le Zaraa' has been shelved, saying instead that they are only waiting for the availability of the film's main actors.

Meanwhile, Reema Kagti's next film will be a comedy-drama called Supermen of Malegaon, adapted from a documentary of the same name that was released in 2012. Her web series 'Made in Heaven Season 2' premiered last night. According to Kagti, a "concerted effort" was made to make the second season of Made in Heaven "bigger, deeper, and dirtier" in terms of topics, characters, and their graphing.
