New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated film ‘Jawan’ is all set to release on September 7 and the trailer of the film is not out yet. The makers, who have till now launched a prevue and songs of the film, have finally announced the trailer launch date of the SRK starrer. The trailer will be released on August 31. 


Directed by Atlee, Shah Rukh will be seen in the double role of a father and son in the film. 'Jawan’ also features several massive names from South Indian cinema, such as Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani and Yogi Babu. In addition, the film will also feature Sunil Grover and Sanya Malhotra with Deepika Padukone and Thalapathy Vijay in a special appearance. 


The action-packed prevue of the film generated a craze among SRK fans, and the results are quite visible in the advance booking of the film. Tickets for the first-day show of the film were reportedly sold out entirely within 15 minutes of advance booking in many locations throughout India. Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that the film's U.S. advance bookings have already raked in a staggering Rs 1.2 crore. 


Meanwhile Karan Johar on Sunday uploaded a story on Instagram stating that he had watched the trailer of the century, with everyone assuming, that the filmmaker was talking about the Jawan trailer.  


Karan Johar took to his Instagram story and wrote, "I just saw the trailer of the century!!!!!!! #iykyk."  


Earlier on Friday, SRK unveiled a new motion poster for the film which showcases five of the actor's faces in the film, with each face having a story of its own. 


SRK captioned the post: “The Many Faces of Justice…yeh teer hai..abhi dhal baaki hai..yeh anth hai abhi kaal baaki hai. Yeh poochta hai khud se kuch…abhi Jawaab baaki hai (The Many Faces of Justice…This is an arrow..Now a spear is remaining…This is the end, right now death awaits. This is something you ask of yourself…Right now the answer still remains)." 




'Jawan' is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film will release worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
