New Delhi: Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan has once again stoked the passions of his devoted fan base with his upcoming film 'Jawan'. Tickets for the first-day show of his highly-anticipated film, ‘Jawan,’ sold out entirely within 15 minutes of advance booking in many locations throughout India. The anticipation among viewers and critics for the release of ‘Jawan’ was considerable, as word of the movie spread for months beforehand. But no one predicted that the tickets would be sold out so quickly.

Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are going crazy over ‘Jawan’. On September 7th, the film will open in theatres. Some venues have begun taking reservations for the film in advance, and the reaction has been overwhelming. Advance tickets for Jawan sold out in a matter of minutes.

Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that the film's U.S. advance bookings have already raked in a staggering Rs 1.2 crore. Germany, the UAE, and Australia all offer pre-booking tickets for the film.

In India, only a selected few locations in Mumbai offered pre-purchase tickets. The eagerness of the crowd to get tickets was evident. It's interesting to note that some Thane patrons paid as much as Rs 1100 for a ticket. As per the India Today report, tickets for ‘Jawan’ sold out in under 15 minutes across India.

This is Shah Rukh's second film of the year; Siddharth Anand's espionage action thriller 'Pathaan' was a big hit, and 'Jawan' follows in its footsteps.

'Jawan' marks Nayanthara's first time appearing in a Bollywood film opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The film also features Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra, with Deepika Padukone only appearing briefly. The movie was shot in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Aurangabad. Filmed in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, it will be distributed by Red Chillies Entertainment.
