New Delhi: Early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk indicate that Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, which made Rs 36.85 crore on Sunday, made Rs 16 crore on Monday. The Atlee-directed film, which also has Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Deepika Padukone, and Sanjay Dutt, has amassed a total 12-day revenue of Rs 493.63 crore in India. On Monday, the movie's Hindi occupancy was 23.92% nationwide.

Jawan has been on an unstoppable streak. Even with the release of his own movie, Pathaan, in January of this year, SRK seems to be outdoing himself. The Siddharth Anand-directed movie had a huge box office success, grossing Rs. 1,055 crore internationally and Rs. 543.09 crore domestically. John Abraham and Deepika Padukone both played significant roles in the movie.

With a total worldwide revenue of more than Rs 860 crore, Jawan is performing remarkably well. It has achieved this milestone more quickly than any other Bollywood film. Previously, Shah Rukh Khan's biggest hit, Pathaan, held the record with $130 million in worldwide revenue. After Aamir Khan's Dangal, which brought in almost $250 million, it became the second-highest grossing Hindi film globally. SRK would be the only Indian actor to have two films with worldwide box office receipts of over $100 million in a single calendar year if Jawan surpasses Pathaan's records.

Recently, Atlee talked about the prospect of Jawan winning an Oscar. If everything works out, Atlee said in an interview with Etimes that he would like to take Jawan to the Oscars. The director stated that he would love for Jawan to have the chance to receive the acclaim that everyone in the film industry strives for at important events like the Oscars.
