New Delhi: The Indian box office was dead for a while, but Shah Rukh Khan brought it back to life. SRK’s film 'Jawan' has been on a nonstop streak of box office success since its debut a month ago. After more than 25 days in theaters, the film has amassed Rs 600 crore in India. It profited from the three-day weekend's "Buy One, Get One Free" tickets. The movie, which was released on the 7th of September, made a total of ₹8.27 crore at the worldwide box office on Saturday itself.
Directed by Atlee, ‘Jawan’ has achieved the highest-grossing Indian film at the worldwide box office. As per the sacnilk report, ‘Jawan’ has crossed the Rs 600 crore mark in India.
Earlier, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh mentioned on his social media post that the film has a "strong chance of going past the 600 crore mark." His caption reads, "#Jawan has a strong chance of going past ₹ 600 cr mark… Also, the possibility of hitting double digits on Sun - Mon cannot be ruled out… This one's showing no signs of fatigue… [Week 4] Fri 4.90 cr, Sat 8.27 cr. Total: ₹ 538.67 cr."
Jawan has earned Rs 1055 crore worldwide, making it the second highest-grossing Bollywood movie of all time after Shah Rukh's Pathaan (Rs 1050 crore). Dangal (Rs 2000 crore) remains the highest-grossing film of all time.
The film has an ensemble cast that includes Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathy, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya. ‘Jawan’ was recently screened at the Himalayan Film Festival, and it was a huge hit with the audience.
