New Delhi: Actor Janhvi Kapoor is getting set to make her major Telugu debut alongside Jr. NTR in a forthcoming, as-yet-untitled film that will be helmed by Koratala Siva. After 'Janatha Garage', Jr. NTR and Koratala Siva are collaborating once again in 'NTR 30'. The project will likely break ground next month after being formally unveiled later this month.
According to Hindustan Times, Janhvi Kapoor was recently signed by the producers, according to a source from the movie's crew. She'll soon be a part of the group for a photoshoot session with Jr. NTR. “It is true that Janhvi has been signed. The makers did have a few options in mind but they eventually went ahead with Janhvi. In a couple of weeks, the team is planning to do a photoshoot with the lead pair. The project will go on the floors next month,” the source said.
Fans have flooded social media with requests for information on the film ever since the project was initially disclosed.
Jr. NTR recently pleaded with fans to refrain from constantly asking for updates because it puts a lot of burden on many people. Speaking during the pre-release screening of his brother's movie 'Kalyan Ram',“Sometimes, when we’re working on a film, there isn’t much information to share. We can’t keep sharing updates on a daily or hourly basis. As much as I understand your excitement and the urge, sometimes all of this leads to a lot of pressure on the producer as well as the filmmaker. Due to the pressure, sometimes we end up sharing an update which doesn’t have much value which upsets the fans even more,” he said.
In an interview, Janhvi had previously stated her desire to work with Jr. NTR and Vijay Sethupathi.
Speaking of Jr. NTR in an interview with Galatta Plus, Janhvi said, “I just think there is a josh that he brings every time he is on screen, like a power. I don’t know it’s his swagger, his timing, his likeability and charm and I can just go on. I am sounding like a stalker.”
Janhvi Kapoor was recently seen in survival thriller 'Milli'.
