Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her debut film ‘Dhadak’. The Shashank Khaitan directorial co-starring Ishaan Khatter has grabbed several eyeballs after the trailer was unveiled last month. ‘Dhadak’ is releasing this Friday (July 20) and fans are super excited about it.
2018 has been a successful year for Bollywood, not only in terms of box office but also when it comes to launch of stars kids in the industry. Other than Janhvi, 2018 will also see the Bollywood debut Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday.
Considering both Janhvi and Sara are debuting in the same year, comparisons are bound to happen. Kapoor while talking to a leading daily opened clarified that there’s no competition between the two and she is looking forward to see Sara’s debut film as an audience. She gave a dignified response and said that women should support each other.
“There is no competition. I am looking forward to watching her films as an audience member. She holds great promise and I think women should support each other,’’ When asked about any rivalry with Sara, Janhvi Kapoor told Deccan Chronicle.
Said Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter will be making her Hindi film debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. The beautiful actress will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’, where she will feature opposite Ranveer Singh.

Speculations are also rife that Janhvi Kapoor has signed her second film post ‘Dhadak’. The actress squashed all the speculations and said that her only priority right now is her debut film.
“I have heard that rumour. But no, I am not doing any south film. At the moment, my priority is Dhadak. I am concentrating on promoting my first film before taking on anything else. That is the only movie on my mind,’’ Kapoor told the daily.
