A Pakistani journalist shared the image of Irrfan Khan on Twitter with a caption that read, "Pic shared by @Furqan013 - there’s actor Irfan Khan enjoying the match at Lord’s #ENGvPAK."
In the picture above, the man looking like Irrfan sitting with his hoodie on his head looks towards the camera during the test match between England Vs Pakistan.
The Tweet and the picture both soon went viral with some believing it was him while the others were still not confirmed.
A tweet read: "He was sitting in front of me.. A few people came and asked him for a picture but he refused..i think because of his health. He looked really really weak."
While the other one wrote: "He is Not Irfan Khan, Looks Closely, He just looks like hime" .
Although the answer to all questions is actually hidden in the picture itself.
Right behind Irrfan are seen sitting his sons Babil and Ayaan who too were accompanying him at Lords. And with the family-spotting all speculations over the authenticity of the picture can be put to rest now.
Irrfan Khan's sons Ayaan and Babil also spotted sitting behind him in the viral picture of him watching cricket match at Lords stadium, London
Also the woman in hat sitting beside Ayaan looks like their mother Sutapa Sikdar and also the expressions on the elder son Babil's face and the look Irrfan just gave looking in the direction of the camera tells they were not happy getting clicked.

There were some reports that claimed that Irrfan is recovering slowly and he might also visit home for a short time soon for the promotion of 'Karwaan'. Seeing Irrfan in this picture from 4 days ago only makes us more eager to have him back in his home country and we hope he recovers totally soon too.
Irrfan had announced his diagnosis in March this year when he took to Twitter after days of speculation about his health and wrote, “Life is under no obligation to give us what we expect: Margaret Mitchell. The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour as of now has now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes. As for the rumours that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research :-) To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.”
