Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets in the finals of Indian Premiere League 2020, which took place on Tuesday (November 10) at Dubai International Stadium. Several Bollywood celebs including Abhishek Bachchan and Ranveer Singh took to social media to congratulate the winning team for lifting the trophy for the fifth time in the history of the cash-rich league. The tinsel town stars expressed their excitement on Twitter after Mumbai Indians chased down 157- run target with the loss of five wickets.

Ranveer Singh, who will be next seen in Kabir Khan's '83', performed a rap from his film 'Gully Boy' to wish Mumbai Indians on their historic win. The 'Padmavaat' actor posted the video along with the caption, "CHAMPIONS!!!!! Make that 5 BABY !!!!!"



Abhishek Bachchan tweeted, "YESSSSS!!!!! MUMBAAAAAIIIIIIIIII! Champions.... COME ON!!!"



Megastar Amitabh Bachchan congratulated team Mumbai Indians on Twitter. "YEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH .. MUMBAI INDIANS .. VICTORY FOR THE 5TH TIME .. SIMPLY INCREDIBLE," Big B wrote on the micro-blogging site.



"Woohooo!! Congrats @mipaltan What a tournament, what a team!!! And it’s only fitting that one of the most exciting discoveries of this #ipl2020 @ishankishan51 is out there when the match is won!! Congrats to the entire team!!," Sophie Chaudry wrote while congratulating MI on their victory. She called Ishan Kishan as the one of the most 'exciting discovery' of IPL 2020.



'Mirzapur 2' actor Ali Fazal tweeted, "Yaasssssssss."



Mumbai Indians have emerged as the most successful team in the Indian Premiere League. The team, led by Rohit Sharma, is the only franchise, which has clinched the winner's trophy five times. Adding another feather to the cap, Mumbai Indians won the Fair Play Award in IPL 2020 for upholding the spirit of the game.
