'I Cried & Laughed': Hrithik Roshan Is All Praise For Ayushmann Khurrana-Vaani Kapoor's Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui

Hrithik Roshan shared a series of tweets after watching Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor's new film 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui'.

New Delhi: Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor starrer 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' has received a good response from the audience and critics upon its release. The romantic drama, which arrived in the cinema halls on December 10, started on a positive note at the box office. Bollywood actor Hrithik took to social media to praise the film's stars and director for delivering a fine product. 

Hrithik Lauds Ayushmann, Calls Him ‘One Of The Finest Actors’ 

The ‘Super 30’ star penned a post on Twitter to appreciate Khurrana for his power-packed performance in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. He called Ayushmann one of the finest actors of Indian cinema and thanked the ‘Bala’ actor for inspiring him.

“You are one of the finest actors of Indian cinema my friend!! It’s been a long time since I got inspired like this. Love it when it happens! Thanks for inspiring me with this one! Extraordinary you are! Huge congrats! Big jhappi,” Roshan tweeted. 

The 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' actor called Vaani Kapoor the 'heart and soul' of 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' while appreciating her performance. He wrote, "My dear dear Vaani ! You were the heart and soul of #ChandigarhKareAshiqui ufff you are too too good ! Talent like yours is rare and special. You were nothing less than brilliant! So real and strong yet vulnerable. I’m a fan! Love you. Now go celebrate."

Vaani and Hrithik worked together in 'War', which emerged as the biggest hit of 2019.

Hrithik also shared a post for Abhishek 'Gattu' Kapoor and said that he 'cried and laughed' while watching his new release. "Dear Gattu . What I saw in #ChandigarhKareAashiqui was your heart and goodness mixed with an incredible sense of commercial entertainment. I cried and laughed and had goose flesh. What else does a film need to do! Well done my friend! Come , let’s celebrate," his tweet read.

'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui', which focused on the love story of a bodybuilder and a transwoman, has collected Rs 8.62 crore in two days. The film is performing decent in the metro cities.
