Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has ignited the debate of ‘nepotism’ in Bollywood. Many known personalities from the industry came forward and revealed their experiences on the same. Kangana Ranaut publicised her view on ‘nepotism’ and slammed Bollywood biggies including Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra and others in one of her recent interviews. Recently, a renowned senior journalist took to his column and revealed some shocking facts about the industry and Karan Johar. He also went on write about Hrithik Roshan back from 2007.

The journalist discloses some instances of actors and directors boycotting the whole event if someone of their pick did not receive the award. He also divulged into the fact about how Karan Johar’s hackles rose when his film ‘My Name Is Khan’ did not make it to the nominations. He went on to write how Hrithik Roshan refused to be presented with an award for his role in ‘Krrish’ at first as Rakesh Roshan was not awarded for the same film. A section of the journalist’s column says, “Why? Because how could he give legitimacy “to a jury that did not recognise the phenomenal talent of his father”? Rakesh Roshan was the film’s director,”

The ‘Dhoom 2’ actor sent a word one hour before the show that he would not receive the award but would perform. He was chosen Best Actor Male for his movie ‘Krrish’ while his father was the director of the film. Later, the actor hesitantly and unwillingly received the award, but according to reports, he boycotted the post-awards star party.

In his column, the journalist also spilled some beans about the other celebrities of the tinsel town. Taapsee Pannu replied to his tweet saying she would have wanted to know about such stories after 2013 and she could have connected to them directly.
