New Delhi: Mumbai is the one of the worst-hit cities in Indian with several Coronavirus positive cases. Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan, who reside in Mumbai, have also contracted the disease. Both of them tested positive for the virus on Saturday evening and were immediately admitted to Nanavati hospital in Mumbai after Big B complained of breathing problem. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have also tested positive for COVID-19. The mother-daughter duo has mild symptoms. While Junior Bachchan has assured everyone about their well-being through his recent post, no one has been able to know how the Bachchan family fell victim to the virus.

Although, there are many postulations and theories on how Big B and Junior Bachchan came in contact with the virus, the real reason is still unknown. However, there are some instances that caught our attention that might be the reason for the family getting contaminated.

One instance is that Abhishek Bachchan had visited a studio in Versova for dubbing on 8 July and could have caught the virus then. The other one is that Bachchan's family residence 'Jalsa' is in Andheri which is already a Covid-19 hotspot. Hence, the Bachchans might have caught it from the locality.

Also, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) team has arrived at the megastar’s residence to sanitise the house and nearby areas. ‘Jalsa’ building has now been sealed by BMC and screening of people including contact tracing work has been initiated.
