Happy Republic Day 2019: Salman Khan, Vicky Kaushal, John Abraham & other B'wood celebs wish fans

New Delhi: Republic Day marks the day when the constitution of India came into force on January 26, 1950. Every year, India celebrates Republic Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. On this day, ceremonious parades take place in Delhi’s Rajpath, which are performed as a tribute to India. As our country celebrates its 70th Republic Day on Saturday, several Bollywood celebs took to social media to wish their fans and display their patriotic side. From Salman Khan to John Abraham, Katrina Kaif to Sonam Kapoor, various tinsel town extended their Republic Day wishes to the fans. Salman Khan, who will be next seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’, wished his fans on 70th Republic Day. John Abraham shared a picture on Instagram where he can be seen waving the tri-color. ‘’A nation's culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people. Vicky Kaushal, who received critical acclaim for his role in 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', shared a picture where he can be seen waving the Indian flag. Sonam Kapoor, who will be next seen in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’, wished her fans on Twitter. ‘’I wish all my fellow Indians a very Happy Republic Day. It's important that we take today, and every day to realize how lucky we are to live in this great country!????????#HappyRepublicDay,’’ the Veere Di Wedding’ actress wrote on the micro-blogging site. Ajay Devgn also wished everyone and said that following the constitution is our responsibility. Kriti Sanon, who will be next seen in 'Luka Chuppi' opposite Kartik Aaryan, shared a picture which had the quote, ''I measure the progress of a community by the degree of progress which women have achieved.''
