‘Good Newwz’ Box Office Day 6: Akshay-Kareena, Kiara-Diljit’s Film Enters Rs. 100 Crore Club

'Good Newwz', featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh, is doing wonders at the ticket window.

Directed by Raj Mehta, last week's big release 'Good Newwz' is continuing its winning streak at the domestic box-office. Featuring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in lead roles, 'Good Newwz' is winning hearts and has finally entered coveted the 100 crore club on sixth day of its release. After witnessing a jump on Tuesday (December 31', the film's collections increased further on the first day of 2020 yesterday (January 1).

On New Year, 'Good Newwz' minted Rs. 22.50 crore thereby making the grand total to Rs. 117.10 crore. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film's second day box office collection on Twitter. With this achievement, 'Good Newwz' has become Akshay's fourth consecutive film to mint more than 100 crore this year after 'Kesari', 'Mission Mangal' and 'Housefull 4'. Whereas, it is Kiara Advani's second film to cross the 100 crore mark at the domestic box-office after the super-success of 'Kabir Singh' earlier this year. For the uninitiated, 'Good Newwz' is about the tryst of two couple with IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation), has been produced by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.
