New Delhi: To mark the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, India celebrates ‘Gandhi Jayanti’ on October 2 every year. As the whole nation has been pouring in tributes and remembering the great leader on his 151^st birth anniversary, Bollywood celebrities including Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra and others also poured in their heartfelt wishes for the ‘Mahatma’. Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram and wrote, “My humble tribute to the Father of our Nation, who inspired the entire world with his kindness and compassion. I sincerely hope that the lessons he taught us would live in everyone’s heart. #GandhiJayanti” Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to her Instagram and shared a story quoting Mahatma Gandhi’s sayings on faith in humanity as well as about error and truth.. She further wrote, “With all that's been happening in the world, his words are so relevant in the times we live in. #MahatmaGandhi #GandhiJayanti.” Madhuri Dixit Nene took to her Twitter and wrote, “Remembering the father of our nation #MahatmaGandhi ji on his 151st birth anniversary.
