Bollywood filmmaker Farhan Akhtar took to social media to inform everyone about the death of actor Olanokiotan Gbolabo Lucas. Lucas played the role of Bobby in ‘Fukrey’, which was produced under Farhan’s home banner. The ‘Rock On’ actor expressed his grief over Lucas’ untimely demise and offered condolences to his family.


Farhan posted a heartfelt note on his official Twitter handle and mentioned that Lucas played Bobby in the ‘Fukrey’ franchise. Akhtar called him a ‘dear cast member’ and said that he will be missed.


“A dear cast member Olanokiotan Gbolabo Lucas, who played the role of Bobby in the Fukrey film franchise, has passed away. Deepest condolences to his family. You will be missed.. RIP,” the ‘Don’ director wrote on the micro-blogging site. Check out his post!



Varun Sharma, who played the role of Dilip ‘Choocha’ Singh in ‘Fukrey’, mourned the tragic demise of Lucas on social media. He expressed his grief over the loss of his co-star.


"With a heavy heart, we are saddened to inform that we have lost a very important cast member. He will be missed and remembered. laways. Rest in peace," Varun shared a post on his Instagram story.


‘Fukrey’, which released in 2013, featured Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha and Varun Sharma in key roles. The comedy film emerged as a sleeper hit at the box office. The sequel titled ‘Fukrey Returns’ hit the silver screens in December 20217. ‘Fukrey’ and ‘Fukrey Returns’ were directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.


Talking about Farhan Akhtar, the ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ actor will be next seen in ‘Toofan’. He will play the role of a boxer in the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial.
