NEW DELHI: Farhan Akhtar is one of the few Bollywood celebrities who are blessed with multiple talents. Farhan has excelled in direction, screenwriting, production, acting, playback singing and viewers have loved him in every role.
Farhan is currently busy shooting for his film 'Lucknow Central' and the actor is leaving no stone unturned to get into the skin of his character. He has watched 20 Bhojpuri movies of popular stars like Ravi Kishan and Manoj Tiwari to get the flavour of the culture and language. As per a report in MumbaiMirror, movies such as Sasura Bada Paisawala (2004), Dhamaal Kayla Raja (2011), Banke Bihari MLA (2007), Hamaar Devdas (2012) are few among them.
Farhan is playing the role of an aspiring Bhojpuri singer who is a crazy fan of Manoj Tiwari. To look convincing on the screen, the 'Rock On!!' actor began watching films a week before starting the shoot.
Directed by Ranjit Tiwari and produced by Nikkhil Advani, 'Lucknow Central' narrates story of a small-town man who unfortunately lands in jail and then goes on to form a band with jail inmates.
