The film co-starring Arvind Swami was slated to hit the silver screens on April 23; however, the makers postponed the release due to the COVID-19 crisis. The trailer of ‘Thalaivi’, which was unveiled on Kangana’s birthday, received an amazing response from the audience.

On the professional front, Kangana also has 'Tejas' and 'Dhaakad' in her kitty. She will be playing the role of a spy in 'Dhaakad', which is slated to arrive in the cinema halls on October 1. The National Award winning actress will be seen as an Air Force officer in 'Tejas'.
