New Delhi: The box office is about to see a showdown between 'Dunki,' starring Shah Rukh Khan, and 'Salaar: Part One—Ceasefire,' starring Prabhas. On December 21, 'Dunki' will be released in cinemas, followed by 'Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire' on December 22. Moviegoers have hurried to get their seats in advance of the release of the movie. Prashanth Neels's film includes Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jagapathi Babu, whereas Rajkumar Hirani's film also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.


Fans are very enthusiastic about Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ and Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’, and early ticket sales have already started.


Sacnilk reports that 6,78,292 tickets have been sold for the first day of Salaar (in all languages combined). Through advance reservations alone, the film has earned a remarkable Rs 14.88 crore. The Prabhas-starring film was pre-booked in many Indian states, including Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh.


So far, ‘Dunki’ has made Rs 10.47 crore from 3,60,508 ticket sales. 'Dunki' has a little advantage over 'Salaar' due to its Thursday release, which is one day before Prabhas's flick. Many people in the Telugu-speaking region of the nation are looking forward to seeing Salaar in theatres.


In terms of share of total profits on Day 1, Maharashtra has contributed Rs 1.81 crore, Delhi Rs 1.55 crore, and West Bengal Rs 1.22 crore.


Dunki has already made over $375,000 in North America before its debut, and over $250,000 in the United States.






There will likely be a spike in ticket purchases throughout the holiday season.


The film ‘Salaar’ will be released in five languages throughout the world: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Whereas, there will be no dubbed versions of ‘Dunki’.
