Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kajol, who turned a year older on Thursday (August 5), shared a video to express gratitude towards her fans for showering her with wishes on her birthday. Her fans trended the hashtag ‘Happy Birthday Kajol’ to celebrate her special day. Several tinsel town celebs including Karisma Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Kareena Kapoor Khan extended their warm wishes to the ‘My Name Is Khan’ actress on social media. 

The ‘Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham’ star mentioned the name of the fan, who sent a birthday cake for it. She thanked all her fans and well-wishers for making her birthday a memorable affair. 

"Thank you so much Dr Faz. I really appreciate it. Thank you to all my fans. Each and everyone for all your wonderful wishes. I really appreciate them. Thank you for making me feel so loved," Kajol said in her video. 

“Drowned under all the love yesterday...Just surfaced to say a huge big thank u to all u wonderful people,” the caption for the post read. 

How Ajay Devgn Wished Kajol? 

The talented actor, who is gearing up for the release of ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’, shared a picture and heartfelt post to wish his wifey.  He wrote, "You have managed to bring a smile to my face for the longest time now. Happy birthday dearest Kajol, will try to make it as special as you are."

Ajay and Kajol, who have completed over 22 years of marriage, were last seen together in ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’. The film co-starring Saif Ali Khan proved to be a massive hit at the box office. 

Kajol's Pre-Birthday Celebrations

Kajol's sister Tanishaa Mukerji organised a special lunch for the 'Fanaa' actress ahead of her birthday. Their mother Tanuja also joined the sisters duo in the fun-filled celebrations.

Kajol shared a picture with her mom and sister from their lunch date on Instagram along with the caption, "The three Musketeers …. Always together.. us vs them!"

On the professional front, Kajol was last seen playing the lead in Tribhanga. The film , which was directed by Renuka Shahane, released on Netflix.
