However, in a recent development, it has been put in place that the ‘Queen’ actress has been sent a notice by the Mumbai Police for recording her statement on the case. Her lawyer, Ishkaran Singh Bhandari confirmed the news saying that the Police have sent a legal notice at her Mumbai residence.

As the ‘Manikarnika’ actress is currently staying with her family in her hometown, her lawyer responded that she will not be able to record the statement physically amid the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. However, Ishkaran has contended complete co-operation from the actress and has requested Mumbai Police to notify her of the questions that need to be answered. He also appealed the police to send an officer to Manali or put any electronic medium in order to record the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress at a mutually convenient time.

Ishkaran Singh Bhandari took to his Twitter and wrote, “Mumbai Police had sent a Notice at Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai residence. I have sent a reply on her behalf, she is committed to helping in getting Sushant Singh Rajput Justice. Hopefully, Mumbai Police will co-operate @KanganaTeam”
