Dia Mirza’s Adorable Wish For Son Avyaan & Step-Daughter Samaira On Children’s Day Is All Things Love!
On the occasion of Children’s Day, Dia posted some adorable pictures of her son Avyaan and step-daughter Samaira and wished them on this special day.
New Delhi: Actress Dia Mirza embraced motherhood for the very first time earlier this year. She gave birth to a baby boy on May 14, 2021, and named him Avyaan Azaad. The ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’ actress has been sharing glimpses of her baby boy on social media since his birth. Today, on the occasion of Children’s Day, Dia posted some adorable pictures of her son Avyaan and step-daughter Samaira and wished them on this special day.
Dia Mirza took to her Instagram and wrote, “You are born free. May you live free. Free to explore and discover the full potential of your being #ChildrensDay2021 #HappyChildrensDay #SunsetKeDiVane”.
Dia Mirza also revealed in one of her social media posts that her son Avyaan had been in the Neonatal ICU as she had to go through an emergency C-section. She wrote while sharing the post, “To paraphrase Elizabeth Stone, "To have a child is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.” These words perfectly exemplify Vaibhav & my feelings right now. Our heartbeat, our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi was born on May 14th. Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU. A sudden appendectomy during my pregnancy and a subsequent and very severe bacterial infection could have led to sepsis and proven to be life threatening. Thankfully, the timely care and intervention by our doctor ensured the safe birth of our baby via an emergency C-section.”
She further wrote, “As we watch this tiny being, this Zen master in awe and wonder, we learn from him, in all humility, the true meaning of trusting the universe and of parenthood. And to not be afraid, and so we humbly take the lead from his resilience and courage. We do not have enough words to thank all those who continue to help us live this story of hope and faith and create a safe, healing, nurturing space for Avyaan and I.”
Dia Mirza got married to Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15, 2021, in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their close friends and family members. She was earlier married to her business partner Sahil Sangha for 5 years.
Dia Mirza was last seen featuring in the Netflix web series ‘Call My Agent Bollywood’.
