Late veteran actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor's debut film 'Dhadak' co-starring Ishaan Khatter has finally hit the screens today (20th July). The Karan Johar produced film has created a huge buzz among the audience as it is the official Hindi remake of Marathi film 'Sairat'. Film's hit music & extensive promotions have also added to the hype around 'Dhadak'. While the film is getting mixed reviews from critics, the early audience reactions are out too! Viewers are comparing 'Dhadak' with 'Sairat' for obvious reasons but there are people who are urging to treat Janhvi-Ishaan starrer like a different film without comparisons and biases.

'Sairat' was made on a shoe-string budget of Rs 4 Crore and it turned out to be the biggest hit for a Marathi movie & collected more than 100 crores worldwide. Speaking about 'Dhadak', the film is reportedly made on a high budget. Though the film has just released and it is too early to give a judgement but it'll be interesting to see if 'Dhadak' will be able to set the cash registers ringing just like 'Sairat' or not!
