Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding was nothing short of a fairy-tale. The two lovebirds got married on November 14 and 15 according to Konkani and Sindhi rituals at Lake Como. DeepVeer’s family members and close friends were the only guests at their marriage ceremony. The ‘Padmaavat’ stars shared pictures of their wedding yesterday, bringing joy to millions of fans from all across the world. Bride Deepika wore a Sabyasachi Mukherjee lehenga for her Sindhi wedding while she was decked up in a gold Kanjeevaram saree for her Konkani wedding.

What caught everybody attention’s was Deepika Padukone’s red chunari which she wore for her Sindhi wedding. The bright red chunari had the Sanskrit quote- ‘’ Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’’, written in gold on the border. For the uninitiated, the quote is often used as a blessing by elders to married women in Hindu households.

Fans and Bollywood celebs have showered Deepika and Ranveer with their warm wishes on their Instagram and Twitter posts. The couple’s pictures have already gone viral on the internet and fans have not been able to stop themselves from gushing over the mesmerizing photos.

Deepika and Ranveer will return to India on November 18 and the couple will then host three wedding receptions. Ranveer’s home in Mumbai is all decked up to welcome the newly married couple.

Ranveer’s father Jagjit Singh Bhavnani welcomed her daughter-in-law to the family in true blue filmy style. Jagjit welcomed Deepika by saying "Yeh Deewani toh Bhavnani ho gayi’’, isn’t is so cute?
