Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got hitched in a traditional konkani wedding just a while back in Italy at the wedding venue Villa Del Balbianello and the congratulatory messages wishing the newly weds have started pouring in from the film industry friends. Karan Johar, Nimrat Kaur and Simi Garewal took to social media to extend their heartfelt wishes for the married couple.

Karan Johar tweeted - "Such a stunning gorgeous and beautiful couple!!!! Nazar utar lo! and !! Badhai ho !!! Love you both!!! Here’s to a lifetime of love and joy!"


Going by his tweet we believe that the filmmaker has taken a look at the married couple's pictures and he finds them "a stunning gorgeous and beautiful couple!!!!". This has taken our curiosity to another level altogether to get the glimpse at 'Deep Veer'.

'Airlift' actress Nimrat Kaur wrote - "Huge congratulations and !! Here’s to the blissful ever after of every step you walk together..."


And the veteran actress Simi Garewal also has beautiful wishes for #DeepVeer as she wrote on Twitter - "Dearest & .. as you embark on a journey of life together.. sending you oh! countless fab wishes! Have fun each day – love more – and make happiness together! Ranveer you can’t ask for more - the princess is yours!!".


Ranveer had appeared 7 years ago on Simi's chat show 'India's Most Desirable' within a year of his debut film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' release[What made Ranveer Singh CRY HARD on a TV show back in 2011 ? Blast from the Past!].

As per ABP news source, #DeepVeer are now man and wife as they just had one of the two weddings in Konkani style a couple of hours ago. Around 30 guests from the groom and bride side took part in the wedding ceremony that followed all the tradition and rituals.

Here's how Deepika's sister Anisha Padukone expressed her excitement on social media amid marriage festivities!

According to the sources Deepika was decked in a traditional Kanjeevaram saree, as other ladies too sported Kanjeevaram sari. Another ceremony will take place tomorrow which will be the Anand Karaj, as per Sindhi traditions.

The couple got engaged on 12th November following a traditional konkani ceremony 'Phool Muddi' and the Sangeet and Mehendi ceremony took place yesterday. Singer Harshdeep Kaur with a group of musicians was there to perform and who deleted a picture of her's with husband Mankeet Singh she had posted, moments after sharing it on Instagram yesterday.
