Deepika Padukone's film 'Cocktail' proved to be a turning point  in her career, she actress played the role of ‘Veronica’ in the movie which was highly appreciated by fans. Other than Deepika Padukone, the movie starred Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty in the lead roles. And as the movie clocks 8 years on Monday, Deepika has changed her username to ‘Veronica’ in her Instagram and Twitter.

The script and story of Homi Adjania’s ‘Cocktail’ movie have been relevant to the millennials since its release. People from the current generation also find pertinence in the characters played by the lead actors. But it was not only the story which grabbed the attention, but the music album of the movie was a big hit. Composed by Pritam and Salim-Sulaiman, the songs became an all-time favourite amongst the audience. Even till this date, we sometimes find ourselves humming to the tracks of the movie. ‘Cocktail’ also marks the debut movie of Diana Penty.

‘Cocktail’ landed straight into the hearts of the audience and the movie also holds a special place in the life of Deepika Padukone. The Padmaavat actress even changed her profile picture to Veronica’s still image from the song ‘Angrezi Beat’. Earlier, she donned an image from her previous photoshoot as her profile picture.

Deepika Padukone was last seen in ‘Chhapaak’ which also marks her debut as a producer. Her next movie as a producer ‘83’ will hit the screens later this year where she will be starring alongside her husband Ranveer Singh.
