Deepika Padukone Reveals Why She Was Always An 'Outstanding Student', Shares Adorable Childhood Moments

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone treated her fans with a new Instagram video wherein she talked about her days as a student. The 'Piku' star said that she was always that student, 'who wished to do things outside of the classroom'. Her video also featured adorable moments from childhood and we are sure the throwback snaps will melt your hearts. 

In her new clip, the ‘Tamasha’ actress said, "For as long as I can remember, I was always the student or child, who wanted to do things outside of the classroom." She can be seen holding trophies and certificates in her hand in the Instagram video. 

“Outstanding student indeed,” the caption for the post read. Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages. The video has received over 2 lakh likes and the numbers are increasing with every passing minute.

Deepika Padukone’s Upcoming Films 

On the professional front, the ‘Padmaavat’ actress will be next seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘83’. The sports drama starring Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev is based on India’s 1983 Cricket World Cup victory. The much-awaited film has been delayed twice due to the COVID-19 crisis.  

Deepika has several exciting projects in her kitty including Shakun Batra’s yet-to-be titled film, Nag Ashwin’s next with Prabhas, ‘Pathan’ and the Hindi remake of ‘The Intern’. The leggy lass has commenced shoot for her new movie with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.

"It’s Day 1 at Project-K & I’m absolutely thrilled for what’s coming ahead," Padukone wrote while sharing a picture from the sets of the film on social media.

The ‘Chhapaak’ star is reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan for YRF's action drama ‘Pathan’, which will mark SRK's return to the big screen. The duo has worked in films like ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Happy New Year’. 

Movie buffs are quite excited to see Deepika and Hrithik Roshan together in ‘Fighter’. The Siddharth Anand directorial is touted as India’s first aerial action franchise.
