Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone played a match with badminton player PV Sindhu and shared a glimpse from the session on social media.

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone took to social media to share a glimpse of her practice session with ace Badminton player PV Sindhu. The ‘Padmaavat’ star, who is quite active on Instagram, treated her 60 million followers with pictures and videos from her recent training session with Sindhu.  

The ‘Piku’ actress, who is the daughter of veteran badminton player Prakash Padukone, had a blast while playing the game with PV Sindhu. She captioned her post as, “Just a regular day in my life…Burning calories with @pvsindhu1." Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages. 

In one of the photos, Padukone and Sindhu can be seen enjoying a hearty laugh post their match.

Deepika and the Tokyo Olympic Bronze medalist have been spotted together on numerous occasions in recent times. Yesterday, the ‘Om Shanti Om’ star posted a picture after playing a badminton match with Sindhu. The caption for the post read, “Post badminton glow.” 

Sindhu dropped a comment a post that read, “After how many calories?” The badminton star recently went on a dinner date with Padukone and her husband Ranveer Singh.

Last week, the 26-year-old badminton star uploaded a photo with Deepika and Ranveer on social media. She wrote, "The smiles on our faces show what a fun time we had." The trio can be seen smiling while posing for a selfie. Their photo received over 4 lakh likes on Instagram. Check out the snap!

Is PV Sindhu's Biopic On The Cards?

Fans are curious to know if Deepika Padukone will play the lead role in PV Sindhu’s biopic, if ever it is made. Their outings have added fuel to the rumours, which suggested that a film about Sindu's life and career will be produced. No official announcement has been made in this regard

Earlier this year, Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Saina’ hit the silver screens. The sports drama showcased the story of another badminton player- Saina Nehwal. 

Deepika Padukone's Upcoming Films

On the professional front, the 'Chhapaak' actress has several exciting projects in her kitty including 'Fighter', 'Pathan', Nag Ashwin's next, Shakun Batra's yet-to-be titled film and the Hindi remake of 'The Intern'.

Deepika will be next seen in Kabir Khan's '83' in a special guest appearance. She will essay the role of Ranveer Singh's on-screen wife in the sports drama, which has been delayed twice due to the COVID-19 crisis. The much-awaited film is based on India's 1983 Cricket World Cup victory.
