New Delhi: The sudden demise of Irrfan Khan left the industry and his fans in a state of shock. It’s hard to believe that the ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ actor is no more. The ‘Angrezi Medium’ star, who diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in 2018, took his last breathe at Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital on April 29. Irrfan’s ‘Piku’ co-star Deepika Padukone shared a heartbreaking post as their much-loved film completed five years of release on Friday (May 8).

DP posted the lyrics of the song ‘Lamhe Guzar Gaye’ from ‘Piku’ along with a BTS picture with Irrfan Khan and director Shoojit Sircar. The song was crooned by Anupam Roy.

Deepika, Irrfan and Shoojit can be seen having a hearty laugh over a cup of tea in the picture. The ‘Padmaavat’ actress wrote, “Rest in Peace my Dear Friend... #rana #piku #bhaskor @shoojitsircar @juhic3 #5yearsofpiku.”
