Deepika Padukone on Cold War with Priyanka Chopra: "I was in School when she won Miss World"

‘Bajirao Mastani' co stars Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra will soon be making their Hollywood Debut with ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ and ‘Baywatch’ respectively. Their respective Hollywood projects were also cited as a reason for this by few. But now, Deepika has finally talked about her alleged competition with Priyanka. She said, “We have had very different beginnings. I still remember I was in school when she won Miss World! I’ve known her for many years and nothing has changed.” ALSO- Deepika Padukone opens up on canceling IIFA performance with Priyanka Chopra She further added, “What she wants from her career will be very different from what I want and that needs to be understood and respected.” Deepika will soon start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period film ‘Padmavati’ co starring her real life boyfriend Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Priyanka on the other hand is currently shooting for the second season of her TV show ‘Quantico’ and will soon be back in India.
