New Delhi: SS Rajamouli's directorial venture 'RRR' is roaring high on success. The film starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead, has been making its mark across the globe. The latest addition to its achievements is a whopping five nominations at the Critics Choice Awards 2023.


'RRR' has been nominated for the Critics Choice Awards in 5 different categories: Best Picture, Best Director (SS Rajamouli), Best Foreign Language Film, Best Visual Effects and Best Song (Naatu Naatu).



'RRR' is a fictional story based in the pre-Independence era, on the lives of two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR). It also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles. The film smashed all box office records with its release in March in five different languages- Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.



Marking its place on the first position at the Critics Choice Awards is 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' with 14 nominations, followed by 'The Fabelmans' with 11 and 'Babylon' with 10 nominations.

The Critics Choice Awards will be presented on January 15, 2023 in Los Angeles. Considered the first in the prestigious American Awards season, it will be culminated with the Academy Awards in March.
