Amitabh Bachchan Posts Video Of A Girl Singing Ed Sheeran’s Song: 'You Have Brightened My Day In The Hospital Like Never Before'

On being tested positive for COVID-19, he is giving updates about his health through his social media. He has been very active on social media thanking his fans and well-wishers for the immense love that he is receiving.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for the novel coronavirus along with son Abhishek on July 11. Both of them were immediately admitted to Nanavati hospital. Other family members including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and baby Aaradhya also tested positive for the virus. Though both the mother and daughter were prescribed for home quarantine, they started developing symptoms of the virus and were also admitted to the hospital shortly after. However, Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta luckily tested negative for the virus.

Spending his time and undergoing treatment in isolation, Big B never fails to keep himself entertained. He has been sharing posts related to his health and also posts showing utmost gratitude towards his fans and followers. The megastar is overwhelmed by the love and prayers that he and his family are receiving for their speedy recovery.

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter and shared the video of a girl crooning to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’. The actor expresses through his tweet how her talent has brightened up his day in the hospital like never before. The ‘102 Not Out’ actor was impressed by the way the girl was blending Karnataka and Western music. His tweet read, “T 3605 - My music partner and dear friend sent me this .. I do not know who this is but I can just say “You are a very special talent, God bless you .. keep up the good work .. you have brightened my day in the Hospital like never before. Mixing Karnatak & Western pop.. amazing!"


He also took to his Instagram on Friday and shared a picture if his fans gathered outside his home ‘Jalsa’ to greet the superstar. He wrote, “- the hands that you raise in love and support are my strength .. this I shall never ever allow to vanish from my system .. so help me God ! ये Jalsa के फाटक आज sealed हैं सुनसान हैं .. लेकिन उम्मीद पे दुनिया क़ायम है । God willing they shall be filled with love again”
