Coronavirus: Telugu Superstar Pawan Kalyan To Donate Rs 2 Crore To Govt Relief Fund

Telugu Superstar Pawan Kalyan has announced that he will donate Rs 2 crore to the government relief funds to fight against COVID-19.

New Delhi: Telugu superstar and politician Pawan Kalyan has pledged to donate Rs 2 crore to the Prime Minister and Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Chief Minister relief funds to fight against the deadly Coronavirus, which has claimed several lives worldwide. The ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ actor took to Twitter to announce that he will donate Rs 50 lakh each to the AP and Telangana government and Rs 1 crore to PM Modi’s relief fund. “I will be donating Rs.50 Lakhs each to both AP and Telangana CM relief funds to fight against Corona pandemic,” Pawan Kalyan tweeted.
The ‘Gabbar Singh’ actor further wrote on the micro-blogging site, "I will be donating Rs.1 crore to PM relief fund to support our Hon. PM Sri @narendramodi ji,in turbulent times like this. His exemplary and inspiring leadership would truly bring our country from this Corona pandemic."
Several Tollywood stars including Chiranjeevi , Ram Charan and Nithiin have also come forward to contribute their bit to help fight against COVID-19. Ram Charan, who will be next seen in 'RRR', said that he will donate a sum of Rs 70 lakh to the government's relief fund. He added that he was was inspired by his uncle Pawan Kalyan.
