Although, the cinema halls are shut due to the COVID-19 outbreak, movie lovers have the option to binge watch their favourite on digital platforms. In case, you are thinking how to kill your time during the self-isolation period, we have some news for you.


Several Bollywood and South films are now available to stream on Amazon Prime. Yes, you read that right. Here’s the list of films that one can watch on the OTT platform.

The most recent Bollywood film to find its way to the OTT space is ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’. The film starring Saif Ali Khan, Alaya Furniturewala and Tabu explored a delicate father-daughter relationship in the current age. The light-hearted drama was produced by Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh under their banner Pooja Entertainment. The film is a comic take on how a man confronts the harsh reality of his life.

Fahadh Faasil’s starrer ‘Trance’ has started streaming on Amazon Prime from April 1. The Malayalam film, directed by Anwar Rasheed, follows the events in the life of a motivational speaker, who is hired by a corporate body to work as a Christian pastor. The movie received rave reviews from the fans after its release.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘Shikhara’ will be available for streaming from April 4 on Amazon Prime. The film starring Aadil Khan and Sadia showed the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits. The movie focused on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir Valley in early 1990s owing to Islamist insurgency.

Telugu film 'HIT' is also streaming on Amazon Prime. The Sailesh Kolanu directorial focuses on a police officer, who is investigating the mysterious disappearance of a girl Adding a twist in tale, the makers also showed that he was dealing with his own traumatic past.

Amazon Prime Video will also beam two originals series- 'Four More Shots Please' season two and 'Panchayat'.
