New Delhi: The noble Coronavirus infection is affecting everyone's work and life. The outbreak is affecting film industries all over the world including Bollywood. Keeping in mind everyone's safety, the Film and TV industry has decided to stop shooting till March 31. In India, the maximum number of COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Maharashtra hence the government there has decided to mark people who are getting quarantined at their homes.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has for years met his fans outside his home in Mumbai, recently cancelled the ritual of the "Sunday meet" and asked fans to take precautions to stay safe from Coronavirus. The actor, who himself is self-quarantined, recently took to his social media account shared a picture of his hand with the Maharashtra government stamp which reads, "Proud to protect Mumbaikars. Home Quarantined."

Posting the picture on Twitter, Big B wrote, "T 3473 - Stamping started on hands with voter ink, in Mumbai .. keep safe , be cautious , remain isolated if detected .."

Apart from Big B, popular names like Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt too are locked inside heir homes to stay safe from the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

On the career front, Amitabh Bachchan has films like 'Gulabo Sitabo', 'Brahmastra' and 'Jhund' in his kitty.

Speaking further about COVID-19, ten fresh cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Wednesday morning, taking the total number of cases in the country to 147, which includes three death cases in Delhi, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Total number of Discharged/Cured COVID 2019 cases across India is 14.
