CONFIRMED! Janhvi Kapoor's 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' Releasing On Netflix! Watch Teaser Here!

With the coronavirus pandemic taking a heavy toll on the cinema business, many filmmakers have decided to take their projects to video streaming platforms, instead of waiting for a theatrical release.

From the last few days, speculations were at a rife that actress Janhvi Kapoor’s highly anticipated film Gunjan Saxena-The Kargil Girl will release directly on an OTT platform before the theatrical release and now it’s official that the movie is going straight to Netflix. =The makers on Tuesday confirmed that Gunjan Saxena-The Kargil Girl will release on Netflix soon, the date is yet to be disclosed but a short intriguing teaser for the same was unveiled. Earlier, Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan-starrer Shakuntala Devi were acquired by Amazon Prime Video for streaming, Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy Laxxmi Bomb is also speculated to stream on Disney+ Hotstar, however we still await the official confirmation.
