New Delhi: Earlier today, popular Telugu actor and politician Chiranjeevi has tested positive for COVID-19. The 65-year old actor took to his social media and shared a note about his health confirming that he has tested positive for coronavirus. He further informed that he is asymptomatic and has quarantined himself at home. Chiranjeevi took a test before resuming his shoot for ‘Acharya’. Health Update Of Chiranjeevi: Telugu Actor & Politician Tests Positive For Covid-19, Had Met CM KCR 2 Days Ago His statement read, “Took a test for COVID-19 before resuming Acharya shoot as a protocol and unfortunately tested positive. I am currently asymptomatic & quarantining myself at home. Request all those who met me in the last 5 days to also undergo COVID tests. Will update you on my recovery soon.”
Many celebrities from the South Indian film industry took to their social media and wished the superstar a speedy recovery. Sudheer babu wrote, “I am sure you will be back very soon with the good news sir. Wish you a speedy recovery.”
